Description
ASBIS is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (Product) to drive the development and commercial performance of our Premium Lifestyle Accessories portfolio across EMEA.
As part of our Central team, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, product portfolio development, pricing strategy, and business growth, while ensuring strong profitability and maintaining the premium positioning of the brands under your ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Own vendor relationships and product portfolios from selection and introduction through lifecycle management and end-of-life.Drive revenue and gross profit growth across EMEA markets through ASBIS local entities and their sales teams.Develop and maintain premium brand positioning while supporting sustainable sell-through growth.Lead new product launches and vendor onboarding initiatives.Negotiate commercial terms, rebates, and marketing support programs with vendors.Collaborate with demand planning teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and stock rotation.Manage ageing inventory and develop sell-through plans together with regional sales teams.Provide product expertise and support to sales and marketing functions.Monitor and analyze performance by SKU, brand, country, and channel, identifying opportunities and risks.
Requirements
Experience in Product Management, Category Management, Portfolio Management, Vendor Management, or Product-focused Business Development.Background in IT distribution, consumer electronics, mobile accessories, peripherals, or premium lifestyle products.Proven track record of growing vendor business, revenue, and gross profit.Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.Experience working with sell-in, sell-out, pricing, and inventory management.Fluent English.
