About The Role The Hollister Group is seeking a passionate and resourceful Jr. Web Developer/Jr. Creative Technologist to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring technologist to gain practical experience in web development, digital exhibit management, and emerging technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with external partners to support and enhance the company's website, troubleshoot technical issues related to digital exhibits, and contribute to innovative multimedia projects. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their technical skills in a collaborative environment, with potential growth into more advanced positions within the organization. Qualifications Candidates should possess a basic understanding of web development principles and coding. Experience working with content management systems such as CraftCMS and Contentful is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Knowledge of Raspberry Pi hardware and deployment platforms like Infobeamer or similar lightweight exhibit systems will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, technical support capabilities, and a proactive attitude are essential. The role requires the ability to work approximately 20 hours per week in a hybrid setting, combining remote work with onsite collaboration. Educational qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training, coursework, or certifications in web development or digital media are a plus. Responsibilities Collaborate with external web contractors to implement website updates and enhancements using CraftCMS and Contentful.Support the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of the company's website to ensure optimal performance and user experience.Assist with technical troubleshooting and support for in-gallery digital exhibits, ensuring seamless operation and user engagement.Bring familiarity with Raspberry Pi-based systems and deployment platforms such as Infobeamer to support multimedia exhibit deployment and maintenance.Contribute to the deployment, configuration, and management of multimedia exhibits and digital projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and technical requirements.Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas for digital innovation, and stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to digital exhibits and web development.
