A cloud engineering role focused on building automation platforms, backend services, and secure infrastructure using modern cloud practices.

Highlights

Develop cloud automation platforms and backend integrations while working across infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.

Description

As a Medior Software / Platform Engineer, you'll build and run an internal workflow-automation platform on AWS and deliver customer-facing automation use cases on top of it. The work spans platform engineering — infrastructure-as-code, container operations, SSO and access governance, monitoring and DR — and backend integration development: Python APIs, event-driven services, and integrations with internal and third-party systems. You'll take features from design through security review to production, help other teams onboard onto the platform, and collaborate closely with cloud engineers, security officers, and business stakeholders to turn automation ideas into reliable, compliant products. Key Responsibilities Build and operate cloud infrastructure for an internal automation platform using Infrastructure-as-Code.Develop backend services and APIs in Python that integrate internal and third-party systems.Design and deliver automation workflows for customer-communication use cases.Apply best practices for CI/CD, testing, observability, security, and access management.Contribute to security reviews and compliance documentation needed to bring products to production.Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to align requirements, API contracts, and platform onboarding.Must-Have Skills 3–5 years of experience as a Software, Platform, or Data Engineer in production environments.Strong Python skills, including backend and API development.Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred — ECS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, IAM; Azure or GCP equivalents accepted).Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform preferred).Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).Good understanding of REST API integration and authentication patterns (OAuth2/OIDC, certificates/mTLS, secrets management).Who You Are You take ownership of products end to end — from infrastructure to integration to documentation. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity: chasing stakeholders, aligning moving API contracts, and proactively unblocking dependencies.Security, testing, and documentation are part of "done" for you.You communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical colleagues. You are curious and quick to pick up new tools — workflow platforms, gateways, identity systems.
