Senior Developer Productivity Engineer

Primary Skills: Kubernetes orchestration (advanced), Slack bot development (advanced), Terraform (intermediate), Incident management tools (Advanced), no-code apps (intermediate) Contract Type: T4 Duration: 4+ Months Location: Toronto, ON (Remote) Pay Range: $60 to $64/hour on T4 #LP This role focuses on enhancing engineering efficiency by managing and supporting crucial developer tools. You will be responsible for the local Kubernetes development environment, containerized service orchestration, and streamlining incident response processes. The ideal candidate will drive automation and simplify daily tasks for the engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and optimize local Kubernetes development workflows.Support and develop containerized development environments.Configure and automate incident management systems.Build and maintain custom Slack bots for operational tasks.Collaborate with teams to improve engineering productivity.Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in local Kubernetes orchestration tools.Experience developing and maintaining Slack bots.Expertise in running services in production environments.Domain / Industry Experience: Experience in a software development environment with a focus on developer tooling and operational efficiency is preferred.
