PROJECT INFORMATION: Industry: AutomotiveRemuneration: up to 119 PLN/h netto + VAT (B2B)Location: Kraków (4/week) Introduction & Summary This position seeks an experienced Senior Hardware Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in automotive electronic hardware design and manufacturing technologies. The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, demonstrating technical expertise in key areas such as EMC/ESD requirements and thermal systems. Main Responsibilities The selected engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design of compute products, ensuring adherence to design specifications and manufacturing processes. Core duties include: Analyze and interpret internal and customer requirements using tools such as Polarion and DOORS.Lead the mechanical design process while collaborating with CAD designers and cross-disciplinary teams.Manage dimensional accuracy to ensure proper assembly and performance, including tolerance stack-up calculations.Participate in the creation of Bill of Materials (BOM).Oversee design activities for Electronic Control Unit (ECU) projects during initial design phases. Key Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in the Automotive Industry, preferably with automotive electronic hardware design.At least 5 years in manufacturing technologies, including sheet metal, die casting, and plastic design.Strong knowledge of design requirements for addressing EMC and ESD issues.Practical understanding of thermal management in electronic head units.Hands-on experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Proficiency in written and spoken English.Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with Polarion and DFMEA methodologies.Familiarity with advanced thermal management technologies. Other Details This is an onsite position with a project duration extending into Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.
