Java Developer

Job Title: Java Developer Location: Irvine, CA (5 days onsite per week) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, support, and enhance mission-critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, database development, application support, and modern software development practices. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise applications using Java technologies.Develop and maintain mission-critical applications.Create, enhance, and optimize SQL stored procedures and database queries.Perform SQL optimization and database performance tuning.Support applications running on Sybase and other RDBMS platforms.Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.Implement scalable and secure software solutions.Participate in Agile development processes and ceremonies.Manage source code and deployment processes using Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Lead technical discussions and mentor development team members.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.Required Skills Core JavaShell ScriptingEJBSQLStored ProceduresSQL OptimizationSybaseRDBMSGitJenkinsCI/CD PipelinesAgile MethodologiesSoftware Design PatternsSecure Coding StandardsProduction Support and TroubleshootingRoot Cause AnalysisQualifications Extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications using Java technologies.Strong expertise in Core Java, Shell Scripting, and EJB.Strong expertise in SQL stored procedures and SQL optimization.Experience working with Sybase as a primary RDBMS.Experience developing and supporting mission-critical applications.Strong understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and secure coding standards.Experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience working in Agile environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor development teams.Proactive approach to problem-solving and solution delivery.
