We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Bentley Infrastructure Cloud product development team and work on building our next-generation products and user experiences.
The successful candidate will be a member of the software development group that delivers industry leading software to transition the lifecycle of infrastructure assets into the digital world, contributing towards the Bentley Mission of providing innovative software and services for the enterprises and professionals who design, build and operate the world's infrastructure - advancing both the global economy and environment for improved quality of life.
Your Day-to-Day:
Working closely with management and Product Managers, you will take ownership of key engineering responsibilities, including the design, implementation, testing, and support of product features, core components, and cloud services.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to design and implement significant refactoring of provisioning services, both new and existingTranslate technical designs into high-quality software products and services using modern development tools and practicesMaintain and enhance the existing codebase while supporting issue resolution and customer needsWrite and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and alignment with functional requirementsFollow DevOps best practices throughout the full development lifecycle, from design to deploymentBuild and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable, production-ready codeContinuously learn and apply modern technologies, frameworks, and design patternsAdhere to secure development practices and ensure compliance with security standardsCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, both as a service provider and consumer.
What You Bring To The Team:
3+ years of experience in software development using C++, C#, or .NETProven experience building and maintaining backend APIs and distributed systemsExperience implementing secure service-to-service communicationStrong ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and secure codeHands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelinesStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teamsDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environmentA self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.
It Would Be Awesome If You Have:
Experience with service refactoring and modernization of legacy APIsExperience with observability platforms and production monitoring/dashboardingFamiliarity with contract testing for APIs and consumer-driven contractsExperience working with provisioning systems or RBAC-integrated solutions

Please note if you are employed full-time, the salary for this position ranges from 3800 EUR gross (before taxes-Lithuania) depending on knowledge and experience.
