Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with strong TypeScript expertise to join our engineering team and work on a production-grade web application built entirely with TypeScript across the frontend, backend, and automated test suite. The application runs on a modern serverless architecture using React 19, Cloudflare Workers, Hono, Cloudflare D1, R2, and Workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and maintaining production applications on the Cloudflare platform, strong SQL skills, and experience integrating subscription payments using Stripe. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript.Build and maintain responsive frontend functionality using React and Vite.Develop and maintain serverless backend services using Cloudflare Workers and Hono.Design, optimise, and troubleshoot relational database functionality using Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) and hand-written SQL.Maintain and improve database migrations, triggers, and database-level business rules.Work with Cloudflare R2 for application file storage, uploads, proofs, and backups.Develop and maintain background processes using Cloudflare Workflows and scheduled jobs.Integrate and maintain Stripe subscription billing, including webhooks, failed payments, cancellations, and subscription lifecycle events.Maintain authentication and role-based access control using Better Auth and application-level permissions.Develop and maintain document-processing functionality for PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, and CSV files.Integrate and maintain third-party services and APIs, including external digital publishing platforms.Write and maintain automated tests using Vitest and Playwright.Maintain and improve CI/CD and automated quality checks using GitHub Actions.Monitor and troubleshoot application errors and production issues using Sentry.Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, security, performance, and development best practices.Contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions, including evaluating future infrastructure and database requirements as the application scales.Write clean, reusable, maintainable, well-tested, and well-documented code.Requirements: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.Strong proficiency in TypeScript across frontend and backend development.Strong hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development.Production experience with Cloudflare Workers or similar serverless/edge computing platforms.Practical experience with Cloudflare D1, R2, Workflows, or other Cloudflare developer platform services.Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational database design, migrations, transactions, and database-level business logic.Experience working with SQLite, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.Experience integrating Stripe subscription billing and working with payment webhooks, subscription changes, failed payments, and cancellations.Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.Strong automated testing experience, preferably with Vitest and Playwright or comparable testing frameworks.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar platforms.Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, role-based access control, and web application security.Experience troubleshooting production applications and resolving technical issues independently.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, application architecture, performance, security, and development best practices.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively with remote and international teams.Experience developing traditional Node.js backend applications.Good to Have: Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL in production environments.Hands-on experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.Experience planning or executing migrations from serverless/edge architectures to traditional cloud infrastructure.Experience with document-processing libraries and workflows involving PDF, Excel, or CSV files.Familiarity with Hono, Better Auth, Sentry, pdf-lib, pdf.js, SheetJS, or PapaParse.Experience working with applications that contain complex database triggers and business rules.Understanding of application scalability, database migration strategies, and cloud architecture trade-offs.Company Benefits: Friendly, competitive, and creative work environment with exposure to international leadership.Opportunity to collaborate with global teams and gain hands-on experience working on international projects.Competitive salary aligned with market standards, with regular performance reviews.Standard 5-day work week (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) in a collaborative hybrid work environment.Access to paid learning platforms such as Udemy and opportunities to work with modern technologies.Employee benefits including Provident Fund (PF), CIT, paid leave, and sick leave.Refreshments, recreational activities, and regular team-building events.
