Description

We are looking for someone who programs daily with Claude Code or Codex, in the terminal or the IDE. Not "I use ChatGPT". We mean building: agents, API integrations, automations that actually run in production. Part-time, 20 to 60 hours a month, fully remote. Who we are Data Pal. A data and automation consultancy, Alteryx Premier Services Partner, one of five worldwide, working with clients across Western Europe. A small team where AI is not a line on the website but the daily tool. We build our own tooling instead of waiting for someone to ship it. Our stack: Claude Code, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft 365, Python, Alteryx. What you will do Mostly internal work to start, meaning things our own team uses every day: - build and maintain internal LLM-based tools and automations - integrate models through APIs with our systems and data - build agents that work on documents and on the mailbox - build demos and proofs of concept for sales conversations - support the team in day-to-day work with Claude Code We start with internal tooling, but client work will follow. Must have - daily programming with Claude Code or Codex, in the terminal or the IDE, or a similar agentic tool (e.g. Cursor agent mode), backed by something concrete: a repository, a project or a description of what you shipped - the ability to wire an LLM through an API and ship a working automation end to end - good work attitude: you take ownership and deliver what you promise - communication skills: we work with clients and you will too - solid working English. We work in English Strong plus - Python, SQL - RAG and connecting models to data - prompt engineering and evaluating model output quality - Azure OpenAI or another cloud - client-facing experience Nice to have - Alteryx Designer or Alteryx Server What you get - Fully remote, anywhere in the EU or EEA - Flexible working hours. You plan your own week around a few fixed calls - Claude Code and Codex subscriptions paid by us, so you work with the same tools we do - Real users from day one. The tools you build are used daily by our team, and later by our clients - Direct work with the founders. Short feedback loops, no layers in between How the engagement works - Capacity: 20 to 60 hours a month, agreed individually - Contract: B2B across the EU and EEA, or a Polish contract if you are based in Poland. We start part-time and, if it works out on both sides, move to a long-term arrangement, including employment in Poland - Rate: our typical range for this role is 30 to 45 EUR per hour on B2B (net), or 130 to 190 PLN per hour on a Polish civil law contract (gross). The exact rate depends on experience, time commitment, and contract type - Start: October or November 2026, flexible How to apply Fill in our short form: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/125ZD94qup It takes about 10 minutes. We will ask for a link to something you built: a repository, a demo, or a short write-up of what it does and why. That matters more to us than a CV. If it looks like a fit, we will schedule a call. On that call we will ask for 15 minutes of live work with your own agent, on your own setup. We want to see how you work, not to test you on a whiteboard. Applications are open until 20 October 2026. We reply to every application within one week, and final decisions go out by 27 October 2026 at the latest.
