B2B Project: System Engineer – Feature Owner Hays IT Contracting is a cooperation based on B2B rules. We connect IT specialists with the most interesting technological projects on the market. For our client, a global company operating in the automotive technology sector and delivering advanced vehicle systems and solutions, we are currently looking for a B2B Contractor for the position of System Engineer – Feature Owner. Service delivery model: Hybrid, Kraków. On-site participation may be required for project workshops and key project meetings when justified by project needs. Rate: up to 137 PLN/h net (+ VAT) Start Date: ASAP Cooperation: Initial project scope from 01.10.2026 to 31.12.2026, with a planned project extension Cooperation type: B2B, through Hays Poland Language: English (B2) Project Description: The project focuses on the development and delivery of advanced automotive features and vehicle functions. The contractor will support feature definition, specification, implementation alignment, validation activities, and collaboration with multiple international project teams and stakeholders. The role requires end-to-end ownership of a dedicated feature area and active participation throughout the project lifecycle. Technology Environment: Automotive electronics Microcontrollers Software programming Python (basic knowledge advantageous) Functional Safety (FuSa) ADAS systems and features Scope of services: Create technical documentation for vehicle functions.Analyze customer requirements and technical specifications. Define product parameters and functionality based on project requirements. Coordinate activities across multiple project teams, competencies, and external vendors to support successful feature implementation. Take end-to-end responsibility for the alignment, implementation, and delivery of assigned features. Support feature calibration and tuning activities on corresponding vehicle platforms. Analyze feature performance during test-drive conditions. Collaborate closely with software engineers and test engineers throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in system reviews, technical discussions, and project meetings. Maintain project communication with client stakeholders regarding the assigned feature area. Contribute to technical innovation initiatives and organizational improvement programs. Deliver services in accordance with project schedules and quality standards. Ensure proper handling of confidential information and project-related materials. Continuously develop technical expertise relevant to the project scope. Required competencies: 5+ years of relevant professional experience. Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field. Knowledge of electronics and electronic measurement fundamentals. Familiarity with microcontroller applications and software programming. Strong English communication skills (minimum B2 level). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Methodical and structured problem-solving approach. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within international project environments. Availability for business travel when required by the project. Nice to Have: Basic knowledge of Python. Functional Safety (FuSa) knowledge. Knowledge of ADAS systems and features. Working knowledge of automotive electronics. Previous experience in the automotive industry.
