Senior Software Engineer - Web

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Web to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will focus on building and launching high-impact web experiences that serve users across desktop and mobile web. You will partner closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver seamless functionality, improve user experience, and support the full product development lifecycle from prototyping through testing. The position also emphasizes code quality, technical mentorship, and practical use of AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining high standards. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $149,600 – $308,000 annually Responsibilities Create and launch impactful user features for desktop and mobile web Contribute to all stages of product development, including prototyping and testing Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to ensure seamless functionality Suggest innovative ideas and features to enhance the user experience Utilize automated testing to deliver high-quality, maintainable code Mentor teammates through code reviews and technical discussions Leverage AI for rapid prototyping and documentation, validating results Qualifications Deep understanding of web development and best practices in React/Redux 5+ years of industry web application development experience Experience writing reliable and maintainable code Ability to stay current with new technologies Strong collaboration and communication skills Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Demonstrated ability to use AI in workflows Strong track record in evaluating AI-assisted work High integrity and ownership in work practices Benefits Flexible work model with occasional in-person collaboration Equity eligibility for this position Support for an equitable and inclusive workplace culture Opportunity for professional growth through mentorship and leadership roles Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
