Allianz UK Personal is looking for a Senior Data Engineer (DevOps/MLOps) to further enhance our MLOps capability.
Where And How You Can Work
This is a hybrid role at one of our offices in London, Bristol or Bournemouth and you’ll be required to come into the office two days per month.

About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with MLOps expertise.
In this key role, you’ll develop and evolve our cloud-based products and systems that support critical business processes.
You’ll be deploying containerised applications and maintaining real-time ML services that serve billions of requests annually.
You’ll be hands-on writing high-quality code, shaping architecture & MLOps processes, improving engineering practices and helping the team make good technical decisions.
Your Focus
Design, build & deploy containerised applications as real-time API endpoints, optimising for performance and resource utilisationAutomate workflows with CI/CD processesDevelop processes and improve best practice across CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring, alerting, security and testingWrite high quality, well-tested Python code for production pipelines and services that serve billions of requests annuallyDelivery of high-quality Data Science products that support & enhance our MLOps processes and add real value to the businessCollaborate with business and technology teams, including architects and external experts from Microsoft AzureDesign, build and enhance scalable processes and workflowsChampion Data Science and MLOps best practice across the business Maintain data governance standards, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulationsProactively identify opportunities to improve how we work, challenge the status quo and drive positive change
