Platform Security Engineer

Job Opportunity: Platform Security Engineer Role Overview: We are looking for a technically strong specialist to own the vulnerability position across company's global web estate. You will validate and prioritise security findings, drive remediation across engineering teams, and provide hands-on technical support to resolve complex vulnerabilities across Akamai, Azure, Sitecore and web applications. Location: Cracow, (office visits 6 times per month) English: B2/C1 Type of contract: B2B Responsibilities: Own and maintain a consolidated view of vulnerabilities across the platform estate.Validate, triage and prioritise findings, challenging false positives and inaccurate severity ratings.Drive remediation with engineering teams across multiple regions and ensure issues are closed within agreed timelines.Provide hands-on support with patching, WAF configuration, dependency upgrades and security mitigations.Own patching and platform currency, identifying unsupported versions and configuration issues.Produce vulnerability and remediation reporting for leadership, security and audit stakeholders.Improve and automate vulnerability tracking, reporting and remediation processes.Identify recurring vulnerabilities and drive structural, secure-by-default improvements.Requirements: Strong hands-on engineering background with experience in vulnerability management or security remediation.Good knowledge of web security, CDN, WAF, TLS, DNS and common web vulnerabilities.Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform.Ability to validate and reproduce vulnerabilities and assess their real-world exploitability.Understanding of vulnerability prioritisation and risk assessment.Experience driving remediation across teams without direct line management responsibility.Strong communication skills and ability to work across international teams.What we offer: B2B contract.Private medical care, life insurance, and access to Multisport card.Stable, long-term projects with full-time employment.
