As our volunteer website developer and manager, you will play a vital role in rebuilding our website to be fit for purpose in guiding and supporting the organisation's mission to empower older workers and combat age discrimination in the workplace. We are looking for individuals with expertise in relevant technology and social media for the charity. What are we looking for? Skills Website oversight, management and improvement Network / system management Product owner SEO and analytics Software and web development Web design (including UX/UI) Digital and IT strategy Database / CRM development Remote What will you be doing? WiseAge is seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join us as a volunteer to run our online operation, with the possibility later of joining ur Board and/ or once we get new funding to be paid. Volunteer Responsibilities Technology & Social Media Focus Utilise your expertise in technology and social media platforms to enhance WiseAge's online presence and engagement.Advise on digital strategies to reach and connect with our target audience effectively.Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within our online operation.Collaborate with the communications team to develop engaging content for various digital channels.Monitor and evaluate the impact of digital initiatives, providing recommendations for continuous improvement. Time Commitment Approximately 12 – 20 hours per month, working from home and maintaining contact with other members of team and management by phone, online or zoom plus initial meetings for induction, training and management support.
