How You Will Make An Impact
Act as the Supply Chain representative within new product development projects, ensuring alignment between engineering and supply chain objectivesDrive supplier selection, qualification, and development activities for prototype and production componentsManage sourcing and procurement of prototype materials, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost efficiencyCollaborate with suppliers and project teams to resolve technical, quality, and supply challenges throughout the development processLead SCM-related project activities, including material planning, cost tracking, PPAP coordination, and documentation managementCoordinate logistics, inventory, and forecasting activities to support prototype and development programsPartner with global category managers, manufacturing teams, and engineering stakeholders to leverage the best supplier networkSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supplier performance, product quality, and supply chain efficiency
Your Background
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or new product development environmentsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, forging, welding, and surface treatmentExperience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and familiarity with quality methodologies such as PPAP and Lean Six SigmaExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skillsFluent in English and willing to travel to supplier locations as required
