About The Role Reddit is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join the Brand Ad Formats team. This role is ideal for a product-focused professional with a passion for creating compelling ad experiences that drive brand visibility and engagement. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building innovative ad formats, enhancing the performance and functionality of Reddit’s web app, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering. Your work will directly impact how brands connect with Reddit’s vast and diverse user base through high-impact, interactive advertising solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, a creative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, responsive, and data-intensive applications. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in Web Engineering or related fieldsProficiency in Typescript, HTML, CSS, and GoExperience developing data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant web applicationsKnowledge of automated testing practices, code quality, design patterns, and observabilityStrong skills in performing insightful code reviews and providing constructive feedbackExperience leveraging Generative AI tools to enhance software development productivityExcellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively in a remote environment and discussing complex technical topics with diverse audiences Preferred qualifications include experience working on ad tech platforms and consumer-facing websites with high production value at scale.
