Senior Frontend Engineer | AI & Web Components | Hybrid | Financial Enterprise Want to help define how a leading international bank uses AI in frontend development? Join a small, all-senior team that builds the web components, libraries and pipelines that frontend teams across the bank rely on. The team is now running a pilot to build a sustainable, AI-driven frontend development flow. Hybrid, with Thursday as the office day, and starting as soon as possible. About the role The team is part of the bank's frontend platform domain. It owns the foundation other teams build on: core web libraries and components, including a custom router and a mock server kit, and the global frontend pipelines, built as deployment-as-code for a micro-frontend architecture. Help shape the AI-driven development flow, using AI to speed up how frontend components are built. This is a pilot project with tight deadlines.Build and maintain Web Components and core libraries used throughout the bank.Work with engineers from other teams and contribute to the frontend architecture and the team's roadmap.You'll join a team of six seniors: three full-time engineers and three part-time colleagues. Because the pilot runs on a short timeline, they're looking for someone who can hit the ground running. On top of that: hybrid working with Thursday as the office day in Amsterdam, a project at the forefront of AI in frontend engineering, and the option to become a Security Champion through an internal course. The initial contract runs until the end of 2026, with budget for six months. Who are you? 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong frontend focusStrong JavaScript skills, including how the language works under the hoodHands-on experience building Web ComponentsEnthusiastic about AI in software development; hands-on experience is a big plusExperience with Node.js, build tooling (e.g. Webpack, Rollup) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred)Available to start within one monthExcellent English, written and spokenExperience in a large banking environment is a plusAbout Levy Professionals Since 2000 we provide professional solutions to organizations ranging from tech start-ups to global players.
