Infrastructure Engineer - Automation

About the Opportunity: The INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER – AUTOMATION role is focused on designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code foundations using Terraform to support cloud and hybrid environments. This position is critical for creating reusable Terraform modules, enforcing policy-as-code, and standardizing infrastructure delivery, thereby ensuring scalable and secure infrastructure management across multiple teams and cloud providers. Responsibilities: Design and maintain reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs and version control.Harden pipelines and enforce policy-as-code standards.Manage Terraform state, backends, and workspace organization at scale.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code.Apply strong software engineering practices to infrastructure automation.Collaborate with teams to standardize infrastructure delivery across environments. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with a significant focus on Terraform.Proficient in authoring and maintaining production-grade Terraform for at least one major cloud provider.Skilled in Terraform state management and large-scale workspace organization.Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated policy enforcement.Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.Proficient with Git workflows, including code review, branching, and release management. Preferred qualifications include experience with multi-cloud Terraform deployments, familiarity with tools like Terragrunt or Atlantis, knowledge of policy-as-code engines, contributions to public Terraform projects, and exposure to FinOps practices.
