Senior Infrastructure Engineer

This is a Fully Remote Job About Our Client: MissionOne Media is a brand within a larger organization that offers integrated media planning, buying services, CRM, data analytics, retail media, SEO, and digital experiences. The company operates as an independent media partner focused on transparency and business impact by combining full-funnel media strategies. About the Opportunity: The SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER is responsible for maintaining operational stability and ownership of legacy IT environments while contributing to the design and scaling of future cloud-based infrastructure. This role ensures the security and availability of core production systems and supports the organization's growth by balancing legacy system reliability with cloud modernization efforts. Responsibilities: Own incident management for production environments, including triage and root cause analysis.Monitor and debug system performance using observability tools.Maintain, patch, and secure virtual machines on Google Cloud Platform.Manage MySQL 5.7 database health, backups, and troubleshooting.Collaborate on cloud architecture design and scaling using modern cloud services.Develop automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to reduce manual tasks.Ensure compliance with security standards through system hardening and access controls. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure operations.Expertise in Linux administration, including performance tuning and ZFS file system management.Experience managing Java/Tomcat applications in production.Proficient in MySQL 5.7 database operations and troubleshooting.Skilled in shell scripting (Bash) for automation.Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud SQL and BigQuery.Experience with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CD deployment workflows.Strong problem-solving skills and calmness under pressure.Effective communication skills for collaboration during migrations and outages. Pay Range and Compensation Package: The annual gross base salary range is $90,000 - $150,000 USD.Salary varies based on candidate qualifications, skills, and location.The compensation package includes multiple health insurance options, flexible PTO, life insurance, and 401(k).
