About MedEx
MedEx is a fast-growing digital healthcare platform transforming healthcare delivery across Thailand, Nepal, Singapore, and India.
As part of Bangkok-based MedEx Ventures, we build innovative technology solutions that make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and patient-focused.
We are looking for motivated both Frontend and Backend Developer Interns to support our healthcare and medical travel platforms.
This paid internship offers practical development experience, guidance from senior engineers, and opportunities to contribute to real projects.
Role Description
You will work with our engineering team to develop, test, and maintain web applications.
Depending on your skills and interests, you will contribute to frontend development, backend development, or both.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React.js and Next.js.Assist in building and maintaining server-side applications and RESTful APIs.Integrate frontend components with backend services, databases, and external platforms.Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.Support testing, technical documentation, and secure development practices.Collaborate with designers, developers, and senior engineers to deliver reliable features.
Minimum Qualification and Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Foundational knowledge of programming and software development principles.For frontend applicants: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Next.js.For backend applicants: Familiarity with at least one server-side language or framework, such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java.Basic understanding of databases, RESTful APIs, and Git.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively.Availability to work full-time, on-site at our Kathmandu office.Academic projects, personal projects, or previous internship experience are an advantage.
Applicants may demonstrate strengths in frontend development, backend development, or both.
