We are seeking a Senior to Principal Environmental Scientist / Engineer (Contaminated Land) to join our Sydney team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced professional to lead the delivery of complex contaminated land projects, provide technical leadership, mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to the continued growth of our Environmental business. You’ll be supported by experienced technical and project leaders and will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver complex contaminated land investigations, assessments, and remediation projectsProvide technical leadership and oversight of high-quality interpretive reportingManage project budgets, schedules, resources, and client expectationsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, regulators, and stakeholdersIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and contribute to proposal developmentMentor and support the development of junior and mid-level environmental professionalsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across major infrastructure, energy, water, and resource projectsProvide strategic advice on contaminated land, PFAS, hazardous materials, and environmental risk management About You Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related disciplineCertified Environmental Practitioner8+ years’ experience in contaminated land, PFAS, and hazardous materialsWell-developed report writing skills with excellent attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsProven ability to work within multidisciplinary teamsStrong project and time management capabilitiesWillingness to travel for short-term fieldwork assignmentsCurrent driver’s licence and ability to undertake field-based work What We Offer Flexible working arrangements to support work/life balanceExposure to a diverse and ethical client baseMentorship from industry leadersStructured professional development programs and study supportNational and international career pathwaysAdditional purchased leave and annual “Celebration Day” leaveGenerous parental leave (primary and secondary carers)Wellbeing initiatives and support programs How To Apply All applications must be submitted online.
