About the role - fixed term temporary position through to 10 February 2026
This short-term fixed-term role is a great opportunity for someone passionate about marketing, tourism and digital content to gain hands-on experience promoting one of Victoria's most beautiful destinations.
You'll help create campaigns, social media content and tourism initiatives that inspire people to visit and experience Indigo Shire.
What You'll Do
Create engaging social media, website and marketing content to promote Indigo Shire.Help plan and deliver tourism campaigns, events and destination marketing projects.Work with local tourism businesses to grow their digital presence and visitor appeal.Gain experience in tourism marketing, communications, reporting and industry development.

We're looking for a motivated team player who enjoys creating engaging content, building relationships with local businesses and communities, and bringing marketing campaigns to life.
We're Looking For Someone Who
Has strong writing, communication and content creation skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging digital content.Is confident using social media, website content management systems, marketing platforms and creative tools such as Canva or Adobe.Can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and deliver marketing campaigns and projects in a fast-paced environment.Enjoys working with people, building relationships with tourism operators, community groups and stakeholders, and has a genuine interest in tourism, destination marketing and PR.
This role would suit a recent graduate, early-career marketer or tourism professional looking to gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, events and tourism promotion.
