Lead Mechanical Engineer

Position We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer for our client from the Engineering industry. Offered salary Salary: from 90 to 110PLN net/day, depending on experience and competences. You’re ideal for this role if you: Hold a university degree; additional education in Project Management is a strong advantage. Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects. Have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, PMO processes, and industry best practices. Are proficient in using project management tools and know how to apply them effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Have experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at different levels of the organization, including senior management. Demonstrate strong planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Are confident in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables. Are fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is an additional advantage. Hold a recognized project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or another PMI certification — this would be an additional asset. Your day-to-day responsibilities include: Leading implementation and continuous improvement projects from initiation through successful delivery. Defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Preparing and maintaining project documentation, plans, schedules, and timelines. Building, organizing, and coordinating cross-functional project teams. Managing project budgets and ensuring that agreed objectives and deliverables are achieved. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing appropriate corrective actions. Providing regular project status updates and reports to the Management Board. Supporting and mentoring team members in developing their project management skills and experience. Developing, standardizing, and continuously improving project management processes and best practices across the organization.
