About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, Cash App Banking, will lead the design and delivery of new banking experiences, working closely with cross-functional teams.
This role is critical in shaping the infrastructure and architecture to enhance system robustness and scalability, directly influencing the evolution of consumer banking services offered by the program.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business leads to plan and develop new banking features and maintain existing onesLead technical, design, and product discussions within the team and across the organizationDesign systems compatible with microservice and event-driven architecturesUphold high engineering standards for self and teammatesMentor and coach teammates to expand their technical skillsIncorporate an AI-first approach in daily work to advance AI application on the team
Requirements:
8+ years of software development or equivalent experience1+ years leading large-scale feature delivery, including planning and executionStrong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex system issuesAbility to design and implement innovative solutionsCommitment to continuous engineering growthBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Zone A: $217,800—$326,800 USDZone B: $207,000—$310,400 USDZone C: $196,100—$294,100 USDZone D: $185,200—$277,800 USD
