We Are Hiring: Senior Middleware Engineer /Red Hat Enterprise Linux || Full Time
Location: Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX
Work Model: On-site at Wells office
Employment: Full-Time (FTE)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Middleware / Platform Engineer to design, manage, and optimize enterprise middleware and Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, install, configure, and optimize Tomcat clusters on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.Manage SSL/TLS, certificates, authentication, authorization, LDAP, and SSO integrations.Drive platform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patching, and compliance.Troubleshoot complex middleware, OS, application, and infrastructure issues.Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting standards.Support CI/CD, Jenkins, Control-M, automation, and deployment tooling.Design and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.Collaborate across application, database, network, and storage teams.Mentor junior engineers and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.🔹 Required Skills
Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration experience.Advanced SSL/TLS and certificate management expertise.Middleware/OS security hardening and vulnerability management.Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.LDAP/SSO and identity management experience.CI/CD and automation experience with Jenkins, Control-M, etc.SAN and enterprise storage knowledge.Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
