Software Engineer - Business Intelligence

A large healthcare technology business is looking for a software developer to join the team. The role focuses on the design, development, and maintenance of modular components for standard software solutions across controlling, finance, and human resources. You will work in a dynamic environment, leveraging modern technology to improve data-driven decision-making. What you'll be doing • Design and implement business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. • Model and optimize data warehouse structures and develop complex T-SQL queries. • Conceptualize ETL processes and ensure the performance and quality of data platforms. • Analyze large datasets and perform performance optimizations for database-related applications. • Utilize AI-assisted development tools and participate in code reviews and release processes. What we're looking for • Extensive experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, or database-centric software development. • Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, MDX, and relational database performance analysis. • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field. • Practical experience with Microsoft SSAS, Git, GitLab, Jira, and ETL processes. • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
