Software Engineer

A large healthcare technology business is looking for an experienced software specialist to join the team. This role focuses on the development and operation of modern web applications and the integration of advanced artificial intelligence features into a diverse product portfolio. The successful candidate will work across the full stack to design cloud-native services that enhance workflows for medical professionals and patients. What you'll be doing • Develop and operate modern web applications across a SaaS portfolio, working across frontend, backend, and DevOps layers. • Integrate AI-native features and agentic experiences using LLMs, retrieval methods, and structured workflows. • Design and maintain cloud-native services with a focus on reliability, security, and developer productivity. • Collaborate with product management, UX, and architecture teams to establish best practices for AI engineering. • Apply an outcome-driven mindset to translate complex healthcare workflows into effective technical features. What we're looking for • Extensive senior-level experience in full-stack engineering with deep knowledge of React, Angular, Java Spring Boot, or Python. • A completed advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • Proficiency with technologies such as Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and experience with LLM tools and AI pipelines. • Proven track record of applying AI in software engineering, including the use of agentic coding tools and context engineering. • Professional fluency in both German and English with strong proactive problem-solving skills.
