Preferred qualifications: Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt.Experience with build systems and toolchains (Bazel/Blaze, Gradle, KSP, or annotation processing).Experience building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality and code health (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).Interest in AI-assisted and agentic developer tooling. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Canada: $182000 - $186000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits Responsibilities Learn more about benefits at Google . Design, build, and maintain Android developer infrastructure, including build tooling, frameworks, and libraries used across Google's first-party mobile applications.Partner with product teams cross functionally to identify developer productivity bottlenecks and deliver solutions.Participate in and lead design reviews, review code from other developers, and contribute to documentation and educational content.Triage and resolve product and system issues by analyzing their sources and their impact on service operations and quality.
