Description
Lead Mendix DeveloperAt PSOhub, you work on one product: a professional services platform used by companies around the world.
This is a hands-on technical lead role.
You will keep building yourself while taking increasing ownership of the technical direction of our Mendix team.
You will help shape how we build, improve the product and grow the team around it.
Your work has two sides.
You build new features and keep the platform fast, stable and secure as we grow.
And you build our MCP server, which lets Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot work with real operational and financial project data in PSOhub.
What you will work onAbout 70% of your week is building.
In our Mendix 11 app, you develop new features and continuously improve performance, stability and security.
Next to that, you develop our MCP server, connect it to the major LLMs and build tools that let users take specific actions in PSOhub through AI.
The other 30% is where your lead responsibility comes in.
You will help set technical direction, make architectural decisions, review solutions and code, and help establish the standards we use as the team grows.
You will mentor other developers and help build the Mendix team around you.
You will also handle second-line support.
When our Customer Success team cannot resolve an issue, you find the cause, fix it properly and keep support posted.
You see how customers really use what you build, and that makes you better at building it.
You are not moving away from development to become a manager.
You remain hands-on, while becoming the person who helps determine how the team builds and where it goes technically.
Who you will work withYou will work directly with our CTO, exchanging ideas and challenging each other on technical decisions.
On a weekly level, you will also work with Martijn van der Hoeden, our CEO and product owner.
He has been building project management and PSA software for over 30 years.
You will have a direct line to the people making product and technical decisions.
Your input is expected, not just requested.
As the Mendix team grows, you will play an important role in shaping that team and helping new developers become successful.
Where you will workMostly from home.
