Job Description We’re looking for an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to join our team and work on the development, configuration and ongoing enhancement of business applications using the Oracle APEX low-code platform. This is not a traditional core coding role. We’re looking for someone who understands how to get the most out of Oracle APEX, has a strong database foundation, and can confidently configure, troubleshoot and enhance applications based on business requirements. What you'll be doing Design, configure, develop and enhance applications using Oracle APEX. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions. Configure and customise APEX applications, components, forms, workflows and reports. Write and troubleshoot SQL and use scripting/coding where required to support APEX solutions. Work extensively with relational databases and RDBMS concepts. Investigate and resolve application, configuration, data and database-related issues. Perform application troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimisation. Support application deployment, upgrades, enhancements and ongoing maintenance. Provide technical advice and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Maintain appropriate technical documentation and development standards. Qualifications Significant years' of hands-on experience as an Oracle APEX Developer, ideally within enterprise environments. Strong practical experience with the Oracle APEX low-code platform. Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of relational databases. Good knowledge of RDBMS and database concepts, including tables, views, queries and data relationships. Strong experience in application configuration and customisation. Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capability across applications and databases. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective APEX solutions. Exposure to PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML or CSS would be beneficial. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
