We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Design, develop, and optimize sophisticated Java-based software solutions, overseeing them from requirements analysis to production deployment.
• Influence technical decisions regarding architecture, object-oriented design, and modern software engineering principles.
• Ensure high code quality and sustainable maintainability through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in agile development teams, sharing technical expertise via mentoring, pair programming, and knowledge exchange.
• Take ownership of complex technical challenges, developing pragmatic, scalable, and customer-oriented solutions.
What You'll Need
• Several years of professional software development experience with Java and a proven track record of implementing complex software projects.
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a focus on software development.
• Proficient knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, modern architectural and development approaches, test automation, CI/CD, and container technologies; initial experience with AI-driven software development is a plus.
• Good German and English language skills for collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.
• High degree of personal responsibility, analytical thinking, pragmatic solution orientation, and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and driving technical advancements.
