About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team at ISR Information Products AG. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our flagship product, Buildsimple, an AI-driven software platform designed for intelligent document processing. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the development and enhancement of our SaaS application hosted on AWS infrastructure. You will work closely with a highly specialized team to implement new features, optimize existing systems, and ensure the robustness and scalability of our platform. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in software development, demonstrating proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and test-driven development is essential, ensuring high-quality code and efficient workflows. Experience with microservices architecture and working with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Elasticsearch is highly desirable. A keen interest in modern cloud technologies and DevOps practices is important, with familiarity in Infrastructure as Code considered a plus. Fluency in German (minimum C1 level) and good English skills (minimum B2 level) are required to facilitate effective communication within international teams. Candidates should also exhibit problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to thrive in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities As a Software Developer at ISR Information Products AG, your key responsibilities will include: Providing innovative input for the continuous development of the Buildsimple platform, focusing on enhancing its AI-driven document processing capabilities.Collaborating with your team to develop new features for our SaaS application, leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure and current frameworks.Optimizing software architecture, refining development processes, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment cycles.Translating business and technical requirements into effective software solutions, designing and implementing public and internal APIs.Engaging in backend and integration development using Java and Spring Boot or full-stack development with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Material UI, depending on your expertise and interest.Working closely with the machine learning team to integrate AI models and ensure seamless functionality across the platform.Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high standards of quality and maintainability.
