Senior Network Security Engineer – Palo Alto and HPE Aruba
12 Month renewable contract
This position provides technical expertise in the design, implementation, and support of the network infrastructure to ensure secure, stable, and high performing digital services.
The position plays a key role in supporting a critical program contributing to the delivery of the modern network strategy and segmentation program.
This includes hands-on implementation of segmentation, network access control, and secure connectivity.

Design, configure, and implement network solutionsMonitor network performance and availability,Deliver network changes, upgrades, and refresh activitiesImplement and support network segmentation capabilities, including macro- and micro segmentation aligned to program outcomesConfigure and support Network Access Control (NAC) platforms (e.g.
ClearPass), including policy uplift and enforcementSupport secure connectivity patterns including SD-WAN, SSE, and hybrid environmentsExperience supporting network segmentation or Zero Trust uplift initiatives in enterprise environments
Skills for the role:
Proven experience with enterprise network platforms across a multi-vendor environment, including Cisco, HPE Aruba (switching, wireless and ClearPass),Palo Alto (NGFW and secure access), and Ruckus wireless; experience with application delivery platformsSegmentation and access control technologies, and network security integration is highly regardedStrong understanding of IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, QoS, and segmentation principlesUnderstanding of Zero Trust Architecture and segmentation design conceptsExperience integrating network telemetry into monitoring or SIEM platforms DesirableCertifications such as CCNP / ACMP, ACSP, ClearPass / PCNSEAdditional experience in Zero Trust / SASE (e.g.
