The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Solutions Lead to join our team, bridging hands-on instructional design with strategic L&D leadership.
This role is ideal for a senior instructional design professional with automotive experience who excels at creating best-in-class learning content, while also acting as a trusted advisor to clients and markets on L&D strategy, adult learning practice, and design standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality training content across classroom, virtual, self-paced, and AI-assisted formats.Lead the instructional design of flagship, high-visibility, and first-of-kind learning programs.Act as a quality gatekeeper, reviewing output to ensure instructional soundness, sequencing, and design integrity prior to market delivery.Leverage AI tools and prompt engineering to drive efficient content creation, personally ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.Advise clients and regional markets on L&D strategy, curriculum architecture, and capability-building roadmaps.Translate business and performance challenges into effective learning solutions through structured needs analysis.Establish and evolve instructional design standards, templates, and quality assurance frameworks across the team.Coach and mentor instructional designers on design craft, adult learning principles, and modern learning tools.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
6 to 9 years of instructional design experience, combining hands-on content creation with strategic and advisory capability.Strong expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and evaluation frameworks.Proven experience designing across classroom, virtual, and digital modalities, including AI-assisted content development.Demonstrated track record advising clients or senior stakeholders on L&D strategy and curriculum architecture.Strong diagnostic and needs-analysis skills to convert business problems into targeted learning solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with modern LMS platforms and experience mentoring or coaching other designers.Prior experience within the automotive sector or an OEM environment is ideal; multi-market L&D exposure is highly regarded.
