They partner with major utility providers to design and optimise critical community infrastructure. About The Position This Adelaide-based, 12-month contract role focuses on systems planning and capacity prioritisation for water and wastewater infrastructure. You will evaluate network performance, translate technical modelling into actionable insights, and guide long-term investment decisions. Key Responsibilities Include Undertake and supervise water network modelling to support strategic growth programs. Assess network capacity and infrastructure triggers for major housing and development precincts. Conduct steady-state and extended-period hydraulic simulations to resolve pressure and flow constraints. Evaluate developer connection enquiries and provide clear, defensible technical advice. Provide technical leadership, peer reviews, and day-to-day supervision for up to 5 engineers. Contribute technical input into long-term capital investment pipelines and infrastructure staging. Skills And Experience Required Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Environmental, or Water/Wastewater Engineering. Demonstrated experience in water or wastewater systems planning and capacity analysis. Practical experience using network modelling tools and hydraulic analysis software. Strong ability to communicate technical outcomes clearly to diverse stakeholders.
