About The Role We are seeking an experienced Quant Developer to join our dynamic team at Ncounter Limited. In this role, you will work closely with our quantitative researchers to design, develop, and maintain the software infrastructure that supports research, analytics, and live trading operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems that enable rapid innovation and deployment of trading strategies. This position involves taking ownership of the full software lifecycle—from initial design and development to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancements. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of four years of professional Python development experience within a financial or technical environment. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of designing robust and scalable software solutions, with a solid understanding of data processing, storage, and analysis techniques. Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as version control (Git) and Agile methodologies is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with highly technical stakeholders are also important.
