Find out what a career at Primero can do for you. Your Opportunity We are recruiting for a Lead Process Engineer to join our growing Process and Studies Team. Reporting to the Manager – Process and Studies, you will be required to work across a continuous succession of projects and studies. This role will be based at our new Head Office on St Georges Tce, Perth. Adjacent to the train station, the City office has state of the art end of journey facilities, including secure storage for bicycles and scooters, a gym, tennis court, basketball hoop and a swimming pool available for all Primero employees. Your Key Responsibilities Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams to achieve integrated outcomes.Lead process engineering and design teams on small to medium sized projects and/or studies.Ensure compliance of project design products with the Design Procedure.Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project schedule and budget.Provide advice and expertise to the design progress, issues, holds, change, risk, and deliverables register.Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects, including, cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability.What You ‘Can Do’ A degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering or related disciplines (recognised by IEAust).10+ years’ experience in process design, HAZOPS and commissioning; specialising in minerals processing projects.Balance of plant – FEED experience is desirable.Thorough knowledge and practical application of relevant industry codes of practice.Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.Sound expertise in technical detail of Process Engineering.Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline environment. Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
