🚀 Software Architect (m/f/d) – Digital Specialist Platform 📍 Bonn, Germany | 90% Remote 🏢 Onsite: 2–3 days in Bonn every 6 weeks 📅 Start: 15 October 2026 ⏳ Duration: 9–12 months | 100% workload 🏥 Healthcare experience: Preferred About the Role We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to support the development of a modular, cloud-based digital platform designed for scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. Key Responsibilities - Define and evolve software architecture within business domains. - Translate business & technical requirements into scalable solutions. - Design service-oriented architectures, REST & GraphQL APIs. - Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka. - Apply DDD, Hexagonal Architecture & CQRS. - Support architecture/code reviews and technical implementation. - Work with PostgreSQL, Hibernate, Kubernetes and cloud/container technologies. - Address security, tenant isolation, data protection, transactions and data consistency. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, QA and DevOps teams. Required Skills - Several years of experience in Software Architecture. - Strong DDD, Hexagonal Architecture & CQRS knowledge. - Spring Boot or Quarkus. - Next.js, React or Vue experience. - Strong REST & GraphQL experience. - Kafka / event-driven architecture. - Hibernate & PostgreSQL. - Kubernetes & Cloud/Container technologies. - Strong understanding of security and data protection. - Excellent communication and technical decision-making skills. ⚠️ Important Note 🇩🇪 Very good German language skills are mandatory.
