About the Opportunity:
The Senior Applied AI Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and scaling AI systems within a production SaaS platform focused on financial wellness.
This role enables the delivery of reliable, high-quality AI features by developing scalable infrastructure and frameworks, directly impacting the evolution of AI capabilities in the product architecture.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable AI services and supporting infrastructureDevelop solutions to evaluate and improve large language model (LLM) output qualityBuild frameworks and tooling to support AI feature developmentMaintain systems for model tuning, evaluation, and optimizationEnsure deployment and operational reliability of AI services in productionOptimize AI services for latency, cost efficiency, and reliabilityCollaborate with the CTO on AI architecture, model usage, and system designProvide technical guidance and establish best practices for AI feature developmentParticipate in technical architecture discussions related to AI systems

Requirements:
5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend or systems development skillsProficiency in Python developmentExperience designing and building backend services or distributed systemsExperience integrating LLM APIs or generative AI services into productionExperience evaluating or improving AI model performance in productionStrong problem-solving and systems design abilitiesAbility to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
