About The Role We are seeking a skilled .NET / WPF Software Developer to join our dynamic development team in Innsbruck. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our desktop application, a sophisticated WPF-based software built on the .NET framework. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, refine, and maintain features of our risk management platform, ensuring it remains robust, user-friendly, and aligned with evolving client requirements. You will work closely with project managers, UX designers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions that make a tangible impact on large-scale project risk assessments worldwide. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for programming and a strong foundation in software development. You should possess a completed education or degree with a technical or analytical focus, such as computer science, engineering, or related fields. Proven experience with C# and .NET, especially with WPF, is highly desirable, although candidates with demonstrable programming experience in other technical environments or personal projects are also encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills in German (C1/C2 level) are essential, as all documentation and technical discussions are conducted in German. Good command of English is advantageous. Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance our WPF desktop application using C# and .NET, covering all layers from data models and backend logic to user interface (XAML, MVVM).Perform refactoring of legacy codebases to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability.Implement and expand unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability for both existing and new features.Create supporting tools and utilities that complement the main application to streamline workflows and improve user experience.Develop comprehensive technical documentation and user help guides to facilitate effective use and maintenance of the software.As your product knowledge deepens, engage in direct support and communication with partners and clients to address technical inquiries and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
