About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) to join our IT team in Marlow. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our proprietary software solutions, primarily centered around the Odoo platform. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a passion for creating practical, scalable solutions. Relevant educational qualifications include a degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification such as a certified application developer. Practical experience in software development, especially with Python, is essential. Familiarity with the Odoo/OpenERP platform, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and relational databases like PostgreSQL is highly desirable. Knowledge of REST APIs, Git, Docker, and Linux environments will be advantageous. The candidate should possess a structured and autonomous working style, enjoy understanding and improving existing systems, and demonstrate excellent communication skills in German and English. A proactive attitude, willingness to learn new technologies, and a sense of responsibility are key qualities for success in this role. Responsibilities Develop and extend our Odoo platform, including custom modules and applications tailored to business needs.Create and enhance our employee app for communication, time tracking, and digital services.Design and implement APIs and interfaces to connect various systems and facilitate data exchange.Digitize and automate core business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Collaborate with internal departments to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Contribute to the ongoing development of our in-house software and open-source ecosystem.Participate in technical planning, system architecture design, and implementation to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.Test, document, and deploy software updates, ensuring high quality and reliability.Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
