About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in automation system design and implementation is essential. Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, ProfiNet, or Modbus is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues are crucial. Additionally, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are highly valued. Fluency in English and German is preferred, given our international scope. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize automation systems to improve manufacturing processes and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop tailored solutions. Program and commission PLCs, HMIs, and other automation hardware. Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and performance. Document automation processes, configurations, and procedures for future reference and compliance. Provide technical support and training to production staff on automation systems. Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and integrate innovative solutions to maintain our competitive edge. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
