About The Role We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team at our Bad Homburg office, near Frankfurt am Main. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our build, delivery, and repository infrastructures. Your primary responsibilities will include managing customer systems, automating routine tasks, and supporting our development and service teams to ensure seamless deployment and operational excellence. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, and Python, contributing to the continuous improvement of our system environments. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable qualification/experience in the IT field.Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Nexus.Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, including Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.Strong command of Git for version control and collaboration.Experience with Linux system administration and RPM packaging.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Responsibilities Further development and maintenance of software build and delivery processes to ensure efficiency and reliability.Development and management of artifact repositories to streamline software deployment.Support in setting up, configuring, and maintaining customer systems for optimal performance and security.Propose and implement ideas for system environment optimization and process improvements.Automate recurring tasks such as provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using appropriate tools like Ansible.Collaborate closely with development and service teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.Co-develop and document standardized, secure, and scalable system environments to facilitate team understanding and compliance.
