About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Java Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic IT team in Nürnberg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the strategic modernization of our core systems, particularly focusing on replacing and upgrading our existing policy administration system within the General Insurance division. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the technological future of our application landscape. You will be responsible for integrating a new Java-based policy administration system, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. As an experienced backend developer, you will independently tackle technical challenges related to software replacement and integration, contributing across all phases of software development from conception to deployment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including business units, service providers, and IT operations, you will help define and implement innovative solutions aligned with our strategic goals. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java application development, with several years of professional experience in backend development.
