We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer – Cloud Operations to join our team and help deliver secure, reliable and high-performing cloud services for our customers. In this role, you’ll work across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, providing operational support, resolving incidents, and helping customers get the most from their cloud environments. You’ll be part of our Cloud Operations team, delivering Level 2 and Level 3 support within a Managed Services environment. This includes managing incidents and service requests, troubleshooting issues, maintaining service continuity, and identifying opportunities to improve performance, security and cost optimisation. You’ll also contribute to smaller cloud initiatives and enhancements, support automation and infrastructure as code, and help drive continuous improvement across our cloud services. What You’ll Do support and maintain customer cloud environments across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, including incident resolution, service requests and escalations perform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements monitor cloud environments for availability, performance and security help ensure cloud environments align with security best practice and compliance requirements identify opportunities for optimisation and cost savings use Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, CloudFormation or Python work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver strong service outcomes contribute to service improvement initiatives and knowledge base documentation participate in an on-call roster in line with company policy What We’re Looking For hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 or Google Cloud experience delivering cloud support or cloud services in a Managed Services environment understanding of incident management, service monitoring and SLA-driven support knowledge of cloud security principles, including IAM, encryption, firewalls and multi-cloud security practices experience with automation, scripting or Infrastructure as Code strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams Please note that due to the nature of this role, it is a mandatory requirement that all applicants are Australian citizens with the ability to hold an Australian Security Clearance.
