As a Senior Automation Test Developer, you will join Turnberry's Digital Modernization practice, where technology and strategy combine to deliver exceptional digital experiences, empowering organizations to thrive in today's digital market. Responsibilities Stage data, provision VDI's, whitelisting IP addresses, etc.Own and operate the client App (Mobile) and Patient Online Services (Web), which are the client’s mission-critical, flagship Applications for patients to access their personal health information, communicate with health care providers, manage healthcare expenses, and perform a variety of other tasksPerform both manual and automated testingParticipate in releases, which occur outside of business hours (estimated 5% allocation)Provide software quality assurance services for projects and systemsOversee the maturation of a work unit(s) development methodologies and confirms regulatory compliance as it applies to software support for the business areas servedDefine and analyze product validation for new and/or modified applicationsInvestigate operational and process problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnelGuide and direct lower level personnel on the set up and performance of quality controlsDevise and apply quality controls for in-house and vended productsDesign advanced software automation framework and test scripts that are used by the system testers Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree and at least 3 years of experience in software or test automation development, with 1 year of demonstrated technical experience, or an Associate's degree and at least 8 years of professional experience in software or test automation development, with 1 year of demonstrated technical experienceCapable of functioning across system environments and interfacesCapable of designing and implementing custom APIs between toolsKnowledge of Unix and Windows operating systemsKnowledge of one or more programming languages such as C, C++, JavaKnowledge of scripting languages such as VB Script, Perl, Python, TCLProficient in test management and automation tools [Quality Center, QTP, LoadRunner, BPT]Knowledge of SDM tools desired (e.g., IBM Rational tools: ClearQuest, ClearCase, Requisite Pro, Build Forge)5+ years of professional experience in developing Web and Mobile Test automation frameworksHands on experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFTAbility to design, develop and execute automated tests using languages such as Java, C#, Visual Basic or PythonExperience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing (Azure, Jenkins, GIT)Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Copilot to assist with developing automationSelf-directed, successfully removes barriers, and drives tasks towards resolutionEffectively communicates (both written and orally) with technical and non-technical colleaguesWilling to learn new technologiesTeam orientedIn depth understanding of software quality assurance practices and methodologies requiredKnowledge of relational databasesKnowledge of tool APIs and experience in building tool integrationsPossesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures across fields of specialization (software development, quality assurance, testing, auditing, configuration management, regulatory affairs) to complete difficult assignmentsMust possess strong analytical skills, excellent documentation skills and an ability to interact with people of all levelsMust be self-directed and make decisions appropriate for the business and technical environmentAble to gain an understanding of the applicable systems, industry and regulatory practices and procedures as they relate to product risk assessmentExperienced in analyzing and advising on software development documentation techniquesExperienced in analyzing and advising for optimum usage of common software documentation, problem management and version management tools as they apply to test execution and managementDemonstrated understanding of software development lifecycles as they relates to product verification and validationDemonstrated knowledge of quality assurance practices and demonstrated effort to implement suitable practices Preferred Qualifications Knowledge on Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and data driven automation frameworkExperience with integrating AppliTools into automation frameworksAbility to create reusable and low maintenance test automation scriptsImplement automation best practices and work towards process improvements The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $135,000 or the hourly equivalent.
