We're looking for a Technical Lead Intern — Software Engineering to join our remote Engineering team and help guide the technical development and engineering foundation behind our growing technology platform.
This is an opportunity for a strong developer who is ready to grow beyond individual feature development and gain hands-on experience in technical leadership, software architecture, engineering coordination, mentorship, deployment, and product development.
You'll work alongside our current Technical Lead during a structured transition period, giving you time to understand TiriVelo's architecture, engineering practices, active projects, and technical decisions before gradually taking on greater responsibility.

What we're looking for
You may be a strong fit if you:
Have experience with several parts of a modern frontend/backend application stack. Can read unfamiliar code and understand how systems work together.Understand relational databases, APIs, authentication, authorization, and application security fundamentals. Are comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows, pull requests, and code review.Think beyond individual features and consider how technical decisions affect the larger platform.Communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers and non-engineers.Enjoy mentoring and helping other developers solve problems.Take documentation, testing, security, maintainability, and code quality seriously. Can coordinate multiple engineering workstreams and dependencies.Work effectively in a remote, multidisciplinary environment.
Strong Supabase experience is highly preferred, although candidates with strong PostgreSQL, backend, authentication, authorization, and API fundamentals who can become proficient with Supabase quickly are encouraged to apply.
Previous formal Technical Lead experience is an asset, but not required.
Strong developers ready to take the next step into technical leadership are encouraged to apply.
What you'll gain
This internship is designed to provide practical experience beyond individual software development, including technical leadership and mentorship, software architecture and system design, engineering planning and decision-making, frontend/backend coordination, production deployment, website migration, database and application security, cross-functional collaboration, and technical knowledge management.
