Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Customer Quality Engineer for the Burgess Hill, UK facility. Position Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer quality metrics are met or exceeded to maintain preferred supplier status. You will lead customer quality reviews and collaborate with internal and external teams to drive root cause corrective actions and address non-conforming events. Additionally, you will oversee RMA processes and develop quality plans to support customer product requirements. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting/exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier statusConducts customer quality reviews with customers and internal BDSI organizationLeads technical calls with suppliersWorks in collaboration internally with supply chain and externally with the customer on supplier management work transfer processDrives root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers and internal BDSI organization.Works to address non-conforming eventsWorks with customers on RMA products and submits documents for MRB approvalWrites quality plans for customer products Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience1+ years of experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)Fluent in English on a highly technical and professional levelSolid experience with common ERP systems with SAP being highly preferred Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of studyProfound experience working in a customer-facing roleSix Sigma certificationPrevious Aerospace experience Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Work Authorization: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the United Kingdom.
