The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include modeling and integrating data from multiple sources, optimizing data warehouses, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating closely with data analysts, consultants, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions. The Data Engineer will also contribute to performance tuning, documentation, and continuous improvement of the data architecture. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines and data integration solutions.Candidates should possess Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design, optimize, and manage structured data environments.Candidates should possess Extract Transform Load (ETL) skills to implement reliable, scalable, and well-documented data flows.Candidates should possess Data Analytics skills to support reporting, dashboards, and insights generation for business stakeholders.Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala).Experience with cloud data platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and modern data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, or Airflow) is beneficial.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently in a remote environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
