This is an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer who is ready for more than simply designing and delivering projects. Our client is continuing its significant expansion across Sydney and is looking for an engineer who can become an important part of its next generation of leadership. With several Sydney locations available, including the Lower North Shore, there is flexibility around where you can be based. You will join an established civil team working across land development, urban development and associated civil infrastructure projects, combining hands-on engineering with project delivery, client interaction and team leadership. The Opportunity Lead and deliver civil projects from concept through to completionManage and mentor a small team of engineers and designersWork directly with developers, clients, authorities and other consultantsTake responsibility for project programming, coordination and deliveryRemain technically involved rather than moving away from engineeringJoin a consultancy experiencing substantial national growthMultiple Sydney office locations providing greater flexibilityDevelop your client management and commercial capabilitiesGenuine opportunity to progress into a senior leadership position as the business continues to expand What We’re Looking For Strong civil consulting experience within the Sydney/NSW marketSolid background across land development, subdivisions and urban development projectsStrong 12D capabilityMUSIC and DRAINS experience highly regardedExperience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary inputsAbility to lead and develop younger engineers and designersConfident dealing directly with clients and external stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsCommercial awareness and an understanding of successful project delivery Most importantly, we are looking for a future leader. You may already be leading a small team, or you may be a strong Senior Engineer who knows you are ready for that responsibility.
